COL FB: Miami-Florida 27, Central Fla. 7

ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Jacory Harris passed for 293 yards with one touchdown Saturday, leading 11th-ranked Miami-Florida to a 27-7 win over Central Florida.

The23-yard touchdown pass to Leonard Hankerson gave Miami a 7-0 lead with 1:46 left in the first quarter.

Overall, Harris completed 20-of-26 passes.

Running back Javarris James scored once after 17 carries for 65 yards.

Damien Berry scored once on 14 attempts for 60 yards, while Matt Bosher kicked two field goals for the Hurricanes (5-1), who have won three in a row.

UCF scored on an 8-yard third-quarter touchdown pass from Brett Hodges to Rocky Ross.

Hodges completed 12-of-27 passes for 163 yards with one interception, and Jamar Newsome added three receptions for 56 yards for the Knights (3-3), who were beaten 363-229 in total offense yardage and 26-11 in first downs.
