NFL: Cincinnati 23, Pittsburgh 20

CINCINNATI, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Carson Palmer's 4-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Caldwell with 14 seconds remaining Sunday lifted the Cincinnati Bengals to a 23-20 win over Pittsburgh.

The Bengals drove 71 yards in 16 plays for the go-ahead touchdown and followed it with a 2-point conversion pass from Palmer to Brian Leonard. Cincinnati outscored the defending Super Bowl champions 20-7 in the second half.

Palmer was 20-for-37 for 183 yards. Cedric Benson ran 23 yards for a touchdown and Johnathan Joseph scored on a 30-yard run after intercepting a pass for the Bengals (2-1).

Ben Roethlisberger was 22-for-31 for 276 yards with a 27-yard scoring pass to Willie Parker and a 1-yard run for another touchdown for the Steelers (1-2).
