COL FB: Houston 29, Texas Tech 28

HOUSTON, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Quarterback Case Keenum's 4-yard touchdown run with 49 seconds left Saturday boosted No. 23 Houston to a 29-28 victory over Texas Tech.

Keenum completed 38-of-58 passes for 453 yards, one touchdown and one interception before his late run, part of a 95-yard, 16-play drive.

Running back Bryce Beall scored once after 19 carries for 66 yards.

Charles Sims caught 10 passes for 122 yards, while Jordan Mannisto kicked three field goals for the Cougars (3-0), who beat highly ranked Oklahoma State Sept. 12 and were playing their first game as a member of the Top 25 for the first time since the 1991 season.

TTU quarterback Taylor Potts completed 30-of-44 passes for 321 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions.

Baron Batch scored twice after 19 carries for 114 yards, and Harrison Jeffers gained 57 yards on four carries with a touchdown for the Red Raiders (2-2).
