PARIS, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Britain-Ireland won the European Tour's Vivendi Trophy with Seve Ballesteros for the fifth straight time Sunday, topping Continental Europe by five points.
The Britain-Ireland team needed just two points in the final round to clinch the trophy in Paris and got them in the first two matches, a 3 and 2 win by Graeme McDowell over Robert Karlsson and Rory McIlroy's 1-up decision over Henrik Stenson.
