COL FB: Georgia 52, Arkansas 41

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Joe Cox threw five touchdown passes Saturday to lead 20th-ranked Georgia in a 52-41 offensive battle against Arkansas.

Cox had 375 yards on 18-of-25 pass attempts for the Bulldogs (2-1, 2-0 SEC). A.J. Green had seven receptions for 137 yards and two touchdowns and Richard Samuel added an 80-yard rushing touchdown.

Arkansas's Ryan Mallett also threw five touchdown passes. Mallet had 408 yards on 23-of-39 completions for the Razorbacks (1-1, 0-1), who have lost their last six meetings with Georgia.

Greg Childs had 140 yards and two TDs on five receptions and Jarius Wright 108 yards and one touchdown on four receptions for Arkansas.
