EL PASO, Texas, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Jake Sharp scored three touchdowns while rushing for 104 yards and catching six passes Saturday in No. 25 Kansas' 34-7 win over Texas-El Paso.

The Jayhawks (2-0) rushed for 255 yards in the victory while holding Texas-El Paso to 4 yards on the ground.

Kansas' Todd Reesing completed 25-of-41 passes for 260 yards and a touchdown. Kale Pick added 87 yards rushing on two carries. Dezmon Briscoe made eight receptions for 154 yards.

Trevor Vittatoe passed for 187 yards and a touchdown for UTEP (0-2).
