CALGARY, Alberta, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Suzann Pettersen closed with a 1-under-par 70 Sunday and won the Canadian Women's Open in Calgary, Alberta, by five shots.
The Norwegian golfer finished at 15-under 269.

CALGARY, Alberta, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Suzann Pettersen closed with a 1-under-par 70 Sunday and won the Canadian Women's Open in Calgary, Alberta, by five shots. The Norwegian golfer finished at 15-under 269.

The title was Pettersen's sixth on the LPGA Tour and first since 2007, when she won five tournaments.
Momoko Ueda (65), Morgan Pressel (66), Ai Miyazato (67), Karrie Webb (69) and Angela Stanford (70) tied for second at 10-under-par 274.
"This feels absolutely great," Pettersen said. "I've been playing very good since 2007. I gave myself a lot of chances to win tournaments ... if you put yourself in position often enough, you'll figure out how to close the deal."
