SUNRIVER, Ore., Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Brad Bryant had a 5-under 67 Saturday to extend his lead after the third round of The Tradition for seniors, the fourth major on the 2009 Champions Tour.
Bryant, who has led after all three rounds, was 15-under 201 after 54 holes and two strokes better than second-place Mike Reid, who shot a 66 Saturday.
John Cook (68) placed third at 204 and Larry Mize (70) fourth at 206.
Bryant began the third round with a one-stroke lead over defending champion Fred Funk, who turned in a 73 Saturday.
"I made a little adjustment in my putting yesterday and I started putting a little better," said Bryant, who needed 26 putts Saturday. "Today was one of the best putting rounds I've had in quite some time."
Bryant has four Champions Tour victories, including the 2007 U.S. Senior Open.
