GREENSBORO, N.C., Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Chris Riley shot a course-record 7-under par 63 Friday and leads the PGA's rain-plagued Wyndham Championship by two strokes.
The incomplete second round was suspended late Friday afternoon.
The tournament's first round was finished Friday morning after a four-hour weather delay Thursday.
Riley's 36-hole total, 11-under 129, leads Sergio Garcia (64) and Bill Haas (69) among golfers able to complete two rounds despite sporadic rainfall at Sedgefield Country Club in the Greensboro, N.C., area.
"I'm playing this golf course a little bit different than maybe some other guys," Riley said. "I'm delighted with my round of 63 so hopefully I'll have a good weekend."
Ryan Moore, one of three golfers at the top of the leader board after the first round, is 11-under through 17 holes.
