MLB: Washington 8, Milwaukee 3

MILWAUKEE, July 28 (UPI) -- Cristian Guzman hit a three-run homer, and Nyjer Morgan homered and had three RBI Tuesday in Washington's 8-3 win over Milwaukee.

Adam Dunn added his 26th home run of the season.

Collin Balester (1-1), making his second start of the season, earned the win after giving up two runs on five hits in six innings for the Nationals, who have won six of their last eight games.

J.J. Hardy had three hits and an RBI for the Brewers, who have lost seven of their last nine games. Ryan Braun hit his 21st homer and scored twice in the loss.

Milwaukee relief pitcher Carlos Villanueva (2-8) started and lost after he allowed five runs on eight hits in four innings.
