The three players had tied at 12-under 268 in regulation. McNulty had a 64 and Funk a 67 in the last round.

The victory was Roberts' fourth in Champions Tour majors and 10th overall on the senior tour.

Roberts had two early bogeys in the final round but made four birdies in a seven-hole stretch to tie for the lead.

"I played really solid on the back nine," Roberts said.

Bernhard Langer (65) ended up in fourth place at 269 and Sam Torrance (67) took fifth at 270.

Larry Mize (68) and Greg Norman (71) tied for sixth at 271.
