HOUSTON, July 20 (UPI) -- Carlos Lee hit a three-run homer Monday to power the Houston Astros to a 3-2 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals.
Brian Moehler (7-5) got the win after giving up two runs on six hits in 6 1/3 innings. The Astros have won seven of their last 10 games.
All of the game's runs came in the fourth inning. St. Louis got its runs in the top of the inning when Ryan Ludwick singled with one out, Rick Ankiel followed with a ground-rule double and Molina drove them both in with a single through the middle. Houston countered when Miguel Tejada singles and Lance Berkman walked in front of Lee's homer.
