MLB: Baltimore 6, Philadelphia 5

PHILADELPHIA, June 20 (UPI) -- Brian Roberts hit a two-run homer during a three-run ninth inning rally Saturday to give the Baltimore Orioles a 6-5 inter-league win over Philadelphia.

Roberts had four RBI, Gregg Zaun had a solo homer and Aubrey Huff had an RBI for the Orioles, who left 14 men on base but still won for the sixth time in their last seven games.

Mark Hendrickson (2-4) got the win with two-thirds of an inning in relief. George Sherrill pitched a perfect ninth for his 14th save.

Ryan Howard had a pinch-hit three-run homer and Chase Utley and Greg Dobbs each had an RBI for the Phillies who scored all five of their runs in the seventh inning.

Philadelphia, in a five-game losing streak, is 13-21 at home this season and 1-7 in its current nine-game homestand.

Ryan Madson (2-3) took the loss and a blown save after allowing three runs on three hits in the ninth inning.
