Nordqvist leads delayed McDonald's LPGA

HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., June 13 (UPI) -- Anna Nordqvist made a birdie putt at the 15th Saturday to take the lead when the third round of the McDonald's LPGA Championship was suspended.

Nordqvist, the second round leader, was 10-under through 51 holes, one better than Lindsey Wright, who also had finished 15 holes in the third round. Na Yeon Choi was third at 8-under with one hole to play in the third round.

Jin Young Pak was the clubhouse leader at 7-under-par 209 after posting a 3-under 69 Saturday.

Jiyai Shin (69), the reigning Women's British Open champion, shares fifth place at 6-under 210 with Kristy McPherson, who was through 17 holes in the third round.

Defending champion Yani Tseng (69) was at 213 and women's world No. 1 Lorena Ochoa (73) another stroke back.

There was a weather delay of two hours, 20 minutes during the round and eight players were unable to complete their rounds before darkness set in.
