Langer wins senior golf by six strokes

AUSTIN, Texas, June 7 (UPI) -- Two-time Masters champion Bernhard Langer posted a 5-under 67 Sunday to win the seniors' Triton Financial Classic by six strokes at Austin, Texas.

It was the seventh Champions Tour victory for the German golfer. He finished at 15-under-par 201 to match the tournament record set by Scott Hoch in 2007.

Mark O'Meara finished second at 207 after shooting a 2-under 70 in the final round. Dana Quigley posted a three-under 69 to end at 208.

Hoch (71), Larry Mize (69) and Gene Jones (74) tied for fourth at 209.
