MLB: Tampa Bay 6, Kansas City 2

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., June 2 (UPI) -- Matt Joyce was 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and four RBI Tuesday, powering the Tampa Bay Rays to a 6-2 win over the Kansas City Royals.

Ben Zobrist hit a two-run homer and scored three times, and Willy Aybar scored twice for the Rays, who have won three of four.

Andy Sonnanstine (4-5) got the win after giving up two runs on six hits in 6 2/3 innings.

Jose Guillen and Miguel Olivo each hit a solo home run for the Royals, who have lost five straight.

Kyle Davies (2-5) took the loss after allowing four runs on three hits with six walks and seven strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.
