DENVER, May 27 (UPI) -- James Loney's three-run double Wednesday helped the LA Dodgers record an 8-6 victory against the Colorado Rockies.
Wednesday's victory finished a three-game sweep.
Loney's second hit capped a five-run seventh inning and with a first-inning single, he had four RBI.
Juan Pierre had three hits and two RBI.
Mark Loretta had one RBI and scored twice.
One run scored on second-inning error by Colorado starting and losing pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez (3-6), while both Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier had two hits for the Dodgers, who have won four of five.
Winner Clayton Kershaw (3-3) gave up three earned runs and four hits in six innings with four walks and four strikeouts.
Ryan Spilborghs led Colorado with two hits -- one a fourth-inning two-run homer.
Three others had one RBI ans a run scored on Kershaw's third-inning balk for the Rockies, who have lost four of six ans eight of nine to the Dodgers this season.
