MLB: Arizona 4, Florida 3

MIAMI, May 21 (UPI) -- A two-run homer by Mark Reynolds brought Arizona from behind Thursday to a 4-3 decision over Florida.

The Diamondbacks won three times in the four-game series, including a 13-inning triumph Wednesday in the second game of a doubleheader.

Florida held a 3-1 lead going into the seventh, but Chris Snyder's homer in that inning brought Arizona within one and the Diamondbacks moved in front in the eighth against Christhian Martinez (0-1).

After retiring the first two batters in the eighth, Martinez walked Justin Upton and then surrendered a homer to Reynolds.

Clay Zavala (1-0), who was called up from Class AA Mobile prior to the game, worked the seventh inning to get the win in his major league debut. Chad Qualls collected his 10th save.

Dan Uggla homered in his third straight game for the Marlins, who have lost nine out of 11.

Following Wednesday's two games, which took more than eight hours to complete, both teams had to bring up untested pitchers from their farm system.
