MLB: Milwaukee 8, St. Louis 2

ST. LOUIS, May 17 (UPI) -- Prince Fielder slammed a three-run home run Sunday, helping the Milwaukee Brewers win their fifth straight game, an 8-2 decision over the St. Louis Cardinals.

Jason Kendall drove in two runs and scored another, J.J. Hardy had two RBIs and Craig Counsell sent home a run for the Brewers.

Milwaukee starter Manny Parra (3-4) was the winner, yielding two runs and five hits in six innings.

Nick Stavinoha and Colby Rasmus each had an RBI for the Cardinals, who have lost four of their last five games.

Loser Todd Wellemeyer (3-4) allowed four runs and three hits in 5 2/3 innings.
