PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla., May 9 (UPI) -- Alex Cejka, seeking his first PGA Tour victory, holds a five-stroke lead going into Sunday's final round of the Players Championship at Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

Cejka posted an even-par 72 Saturday, but that was good enough to extend his lead over Tiger Woods and five others tied for second place after the third round of The Players Championship at the Stadium Course at the TPC at Sawgrass.

Cejka, who is at 11-under 205 after 54 holes, has four European Tour titles, and three of those came with at least a share of the three-round lead. He shared the third-round lead at the 2001 British Open before a final 73 left him in a tie for 13th.

His five-stroke margin is the largest third-round lead in Players Championship history.

Woods had a two-under 70 Saturday to finish at six-under 210. He is tied for second with two-time U.S. Open champion Retief Goosen (71), Jonathan Byrd (71), Ben Crane (72), Henrik Stenson (73) and Ian Poulter (75).
