MLB: Toronto 8, Baltimore 4

TORONTO, May 1 (UPI) -- Kevin Millar doubled in the tying and go-ahead scores in a four-run fourth inning Friday, boosting the Toronto Blue Jays to an 8-4 victory over Baltimore.

Millar wound up with three RBI and a run scored to back up eight solid innings from Toronto ace Roy Halladay.

The Blue Jays ended a two-game skid and Baltimore lost its fourth straight.

Toronto overcame an early 2-0 deficit with its outburst in the fourth inning and Adam Lind added a solo homer as part of a two-run seventh. The Blue Jays pounded out 14 hits -- including three each from Aaron Hill and Rod Barajas.

Halladay (5-1) gave up three earned runs on 10 hits while striking out six.

Scott Downs needed 19 pitches to work his way through a scoreless ninth.

Mark Hendrickson (1-4) took the loss, giving up four runs on nine hits over five-plus innings.

Nick Markakis gave the Orioles the early advantage with a two-run homer in the first.
