MLB: Toronto 4, Chicago White Sox 3

CHICAGO, April 26 (UPI) -- Scott Rolen singled in a run to send Toronto ahead Sunday and the Blue Jays held on to edge the Chicago White Sox 4-3.

Rolen's eighth-inning hit to left field scored Vernon Wells, who had doubled.

Adam Lind had two RBI, Marco Scutaro added another and Wells had two hits and scored twice for Toronto, which has won four of its last five contests.

Winner Roy Halladay (4-1) pitched seven innings, allowing three runs and eight hits.

Paul Konerko drove in two runs and Josh Fields had an RBI for the Sox.

Scott Linebrink (0-1), the victim of the Jays' eighth-inning rally, was the loser.
