MLB: Pittsburgh 8, Florida 0

PITTSBURGH, April 20 (UPI) -- Nate McLouth had a three-run homer and four RBI and Ross Ohlendorf pitched seven shutout innings Monday to help the Pittsburgh Pirates beat Florida 8-0.

Ohlendorf (1-2) gave up only two hits and one walk, while striking out five. Tyler Yates and Jesse Chavez finished off the shutout for the Pirates, who posted their fourth shutout of the season.

Adam LaRoche had a pair of hits, including a double, two RBI and a run scored for Pittsburgh, which has won three of its last four games, with all of the victories coming by shutout.

Emilio Bonifacio and Hanley Ramirez had the only hits for the Marlins.

Andrew Miller (0-1) allowed four runs on five hits and four walks in 4 2/3 innings.
