MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers 14, Colorado 2

LOS ANGELES, April 19 (UPI) -- Matt Kemp had two homers, including a gram slam, and knocked in seven runs Sunday when the Los Angeles Dodgers beat Colorado 14-2 for their eighth straight win.

Kemp's grand slam capped a seven-run fifth inning. The last of his three hits on the day was an eighth-inning solo shot.

Andre Ethier had two hits and three RBI and Orlando Hudson scored twice with three hits and three RBI. Rafael Furcal had two runs, two hits and one RBI, while Manny Ramirez and Casey Blake added two hits apiece for the Dodgers, who had 19 hits against five pitchers and completed a three-game sweep of the Rockies.

The winner was reliever Scott Elbert (1-0) after starter James McDonald was pulled after 4 1/3 shaky innings.

Colorado scored on solo homers by Brad Hawpe and Chris Iannetta, both in the sixth. Hawpe had two of the eight hits for the Rockies, who have lost five of six.

The losing pitcher was starter Ubaldo Jimenez (1-2).
