Hill went 4-for-5 and drove in three runs, helping boost the Blue Jays to their second win in three games. Toronto failed to score in just three innings and pounded out 16 hits off four Minnesota pitchers.
Scott Richmond (1-0) allowed one earned run on four hits over 6 2/3 innings to get the victory. Scott Baker (0-1), who signed a four-year, $15.25 million deal prior to this season, gave up six runs on five hits in four innings.
Baker was originally scheduled to be the Twins' Opening Day starter, but he began the year on the disabled list with soreness in his pitching shoulder.
