SEATTLE, April 14 (UPI) -- Franklin Gutierrez doubled and scored the winning run in the 10th inning on a throwing error in Seattle's 3-2 win Tuesday over the Los Angeles Angels.

Gutierrez began Seattle's at-bat with a double off the wall in center. Yuniesky Betancourt dropped a sacrifice bunt down the third-base line. Scot Shields (0-1) fielded the ball cleanly, but his off-target throw to first enabled Seattle to score.
