NBA: LA Clippers 109, Sacramento 78

LOS ANGELES, April 11 (UPI) -- Brian Skinner paced Los Angeles to a 23-point lead after one period Friday and the Clippers coasted to a 109-78 victory over Sacramento.

The Clippers ended a six-game losing streak by hitting 53 percent of their shots from the field in a meeting of the two worst teams in the Western Conference -- and two of the three worst in the NBA.

Skinner made 9-of-12 shots and scored 21 points. Eric Gordon had 20 for the Clippers.

With two games remaining away from home this season, Sacramento is in position to have the worst road record in the NBA. The Kings have captured just five road games this season. Washington won its sixth road contest Friday.

Beno Udrih led the Kings with 18 points.
