Logano wins Nashville 300

LEBANON, Tenn., April 11 (UPI) -- Joey Logano won a late battle with Kyle Busch and took Saturday's Nashville 300 Nationwide Series auto race at Lebanon, Tenn.

Logano passed Busch for the lead with 10 laps to go and avoided a crash involving Joe Nemechek and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. to win the race at the Nashville Superspeedway, 0.487 seconds ahead of Busch, his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate.

Logano led for 95 of 225 laps to 77 for Busch.

"The GameStop Toyota was good from the beginning," Logano said after his second career Nationwide victory. "It's been too long since we've had a win."

Defending champion Brad Keselowski came in third. Kelly Bires, driving Kevin Harvick Inc.'s No.33 Chevrolet, was fourth, and Carl Edwards completed the top-five.

After the crash, Nemechek's car rolled, but he was able to drive it back to pit road and neither driver was injured.
