It was performed by Dr. Marc Philippon at the Vail Valley Surgery Center in Colorado and a full labrum repair will be performed after the 2009 season.

"We expect him to be there on Monday doing all baseball stuff -- hitting, throwing, running," Manager Joe Girardi said on the team's Web site. "He's just continuing his rehab. So far it's gone really well, and you just hope that there's no setbacks."

The rehab was expected to take 6-9 weeks and his return to the parent club has been set for May.
