Hurst moves up; Ochoa, Tseng still 1-2

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., March 23 (UPI) -- Pat Hurst moved up 42 places to No. 44 in the women's world golf rankings following her one-shot victory in the MasterCard Classic in Mexico.

Hurst birdied the final hole Sunday and finished at 10-under-par 206, edging world No 1. Lorena Ochoa and No. 2 Yani Tseng.

The victory was Hurst's sixth on the LPGA Tour.

Ochoa and Tseng held their positions in the rankings released Monday, followed by Paula Creamer, Jiyai Shin and Suzanne Pettersen in the 3-4-5 spots.

Completing the Top 10, in order, are Angela Stanford, Cristie Kerr, Helen Alfredsson, Karrie Webb and Lee Seon-hwa.
