COL BKB: LSU 81, Florida 75

BATON ROUGE, La., Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Marcus Thornton scored 32 points Tuesday, powering No. 18 LSU to an 81-75 win over Florida and at least a share of the SEC regular-season title.

Garrett Temple added 21 points and seven rebounds for the Tigers (24-4, 12-1 SEC), who improved to 19-1 on their home floor this season. LSU has also won 12 straight over SEC opponents.

Walter Hodge had 16 points to lead for Florida (21-7, 8-5). Alex Tyus added 15 points for the Gators.
