Denver Broncos release Dre' Bly

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Feb. 18 (UPI) -- The Denver Broncos released veteran two-time Pro-Bowl cornerback Dre' Bly.

Bly, who earned a championship ring with the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXIV, appeared in all 32 games in two seasons with the Broncos after coming to Denver from the Detroit Lions in March 2007.

He had seven interceptions and 134 tackles in his two seasons in Denver and 40 career interceptions.

Bly was released Tuesday, a day after the team cut six players in salary-cap moves.
