MEMPHIS, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Second-seeded Belarusian Victoria Azarenka was a second-round winner Tuesday at the women's Regions Morgan Keegan Championships.
Azarenka defeated France's Stephanie Cohen-Aloro 6-2. 6-2.

In other second-round action, fifth-seeded Marina Erakovic of New Zealand beat 17-year-old American wild card Melanie Oudin 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 and Dutch qualifier Michaella Krajicek beat German Kristina Barrois 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (7-0).
In opening-round play, Frenchwoman Severine Bremond beat Belgian Kirsten Flipkens 6-4, 6-0, France's Stephanie Foretz defeated Hungarian Melina Cink 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 and South African qualifier Chanelle Scheepers beat Czech Lucie Hradecka 6-1, 5-7, 7-6 (7-5).
