Robredo beats Bellucci for Brazil crown

COSTA DO SAUIPE, Brazil, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Former top-10 star Tommy Robredo of Spain beat Thomaz Bellucci in Saturday's final at the $562,500 Brasil Open.

The second-seeded Robredo, 28, beat Bellucci 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, in a match that lasted over two hours. Robredo hadn't lost a set in any of his previous four matches in the tournament prior to facing Bellucci, and rebounded in the third to notch his eighth career title.

Brazil's Bellucci, 21, was looking for his first career title in his first career final and first-ever match against Robredo.
