NHL: Toronto 5, Montreal 2

MONTREAL, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Jason Blake scored twice in a three-goal third period Saturday night to help the Toronto Maple Leafs record a 5-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

With the scored knotted 1-1, Nikolai Kulemin scored his eighth goal this season at 2:37 of the second to put Toronto in front for good, and Blake's 18th at 3:07 started the third period barrage. Blake also scored at 9:13 of the third.

Jeff Finger's fourth goal this season at 18:56 capped the scoring.

Dominic Moore and Niklas Hagman both had two assists, while Vesa Toskala was credited with 31 saves on 33 shots for the Maple Leafs, who snapped a two-game skid.

Montreal got goals from Matt D'Agostini (power play) and Tom Kostopoulos.

Carey Price was beaten five times on 41 shots in the Canadiens' seventh loss in their last nine games.

Toronto defenseman Mike Van Ryn left the game in the second period with a lower body injury.
