OTTAWA, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Michal Handzus scored the only goal of the game with 2:39 to play Tuesday, handing Los Angeles a 1-0 victory over Ottawa.

Cory Coulston, who was named Ottawa's new coach Monday, made his debut Tuesday.

Jonathan Quick made 29 saves for his third shutout of the season. Wayne Simmonds and Brad Richardson each had an assist on the goal for the Kings, who have won four of their last five.

Brian Elliot stopped 25 shots for the Senators, who have lost their last three games.
