NHL: Atlanta 4, Montreal 2

ATLANTA, Jan. 20 (UPI) -- Chris Thorburn had a goal and an assist Tuesday, keying the Atlanta Thrashers' 4-2 victory over the Montreal Canadians.

Zach Bogosian, Erik Christensen and Rich Peverley also scored for the Thrashers, who have won three games in a row. Atlanta's Kari Lehtonen stopped 34 shots.

Max Pacioretty and Steve Begin scored for the Canadiens, who lost for just the second time in their last eight games.

Montreal starting goalie Jaroslav Halak was relieved after allowing three goals on 14 shots in 24 minutes. Carey Price finished by allowing one goal on 10 shots.
