CINCINNATI, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- B.J. Raymond's 16 points led No. 16 Xavier, which raced to a big early lead Sunday en route to a 73-53 whipping of the La Salle Explorers.
The Musketeers started the game with a 22-5 romp, led 39-22 at halftime and 51-29 after a couple of Raymond three-pointers early in the second half.

Derrick Brown contributed 15 points and Jason Love added 10 for Xavier (15-2, 4-0 A-10), which has won six games in a row.
Rodney Green and Yves Mekongo Mbala scored 15 points each for La Salle (9-7, 1-2).
The Explorers committed 17 turnovers.
