PROVIDENCE, R.I., Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Lazar Hayward and Jerel McNeal had 25 points each Saturday night and 14th-ranked Marquette posted a come-from-behind 91-82 win over Providence.
The Golden Eagles trailed by 13 in the second half but used a 15-4 run to get back in it and then went on to win their eighth straight game.

Hayward had seven rebounds and two steals for Marquette (16-2, 5-0 Big East), which also got four rebounds and six assists from McNeal.
Marshon Brooks led Providence with 21 points and six rebounds. Geoff McDermott had 15 points and 17 rebounds for Providence (11-6, 3-2), which lost its second straight Big East contest.
