NHL: N.Y. Rangers 3, Chicago 2 (OT)

CHICAGO, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- Chris Drury's second goal of the game, coming 2:23 into overtime Friday night, gave the New York Rangers a 3-2 win over Chicago.

After 60 minutes of penalties were called during regulation time of a physical game, Andrew Ladd was called for slashing 2:12 into the overtime.

The Rangers capitalized when Drury tipped in a shot by Wade Redden for his 15th goal of the season.

New York won its third in a row and Chicago had a two-game winning streak snapped.

Drury tied the game at 1-1 on the power play early in the second period and the Blackhawks took a 2-1 advantage midway through the third on a wrist shot by Brandon Dubinsky.

Brent Seabrook, however, forced overtime with a power-play goal with 4:29 left in the third.

Henrik Lundqvist made 32 saves to get the victory. Nikolai Khabibulin stopped 19 shots for the Blackhawks. Five of Khabibulin's eight losses this season have come in overtime.
