The two tall finalists -- DelPotro is 6-foot-5 and Querrey 6-foot-6 -- will meet for the first time in an ATP match.

Del Potro has won four of his five finals. Querrey has played in one, winning in Las Vegas last year.

Querrey is the first American to reach the Auckland final since Michael Chang in 2000. Chang lost that match to Magnus Norman of Sweden.
