PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Martin Biron had 41 saves and Jeff Carter scored two goals Saturday night when the Philadelphia Flyers post a 4-1 victory over Toronto.
Mike Richards and Andrew Alberts also had goals for the Flyers, who improved to 4
2 in their last six games.

Alexei Ponikarovsky scored the lone goal for the Maple Leafs, who have lost three in a row and seven of their last nine games. Toronto's Vesa Toskala stopped 26 shots.
Ponikarovsky's backhand tally 41 seconds into the third period tied the score at 1-1. The Flyers then scored three unanswered goals to close out of the game.
