BUFFALO, N.Y., Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Matt Ellis, Drew Stafford, Derek Roy and Thomas Vanek scored Tuesday to hand the Buffalo Sabres a 4-2 win over the Ottawa Senators.

Ryan Miller made 31 saves for Buffalo, which has won three straight games.

Jason Spezza scored both goals for Ottawa, which is winless in 2009 (0-2-1). Alex Auld allowed three goals on 25 shots in the loss.
