NHL: Los Angeles 4, Phoenix 0

GLENDALE, Ariz., Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Alexander Frolov had two goals and Jonathan Quick posted his second NHL shutout with 26 saves Saturday night when the Los Angeles Kings beat Phoenix 4-0.

Quick -- who shut out Columbus 3-0 Tuesday -- was playing in just his eighth NHL game Saturday night, when he led the Kings to a split of their home-and-home series with the Coyotes and their second win in three games overall.

Jarret Stoll had a goal and an assist, and Raitis Ivanans scored for LA.

Ilya Bryzgalov allowed all four LA goals on 30 shots in the Coyotes' third loss in four games.

The Kings scored three times late in the first period, getting goals from Ivanans at 14:06, Frolov at 17:27 and Still with just 20 seconds left in the period.

Frolov scored his second goal of the night midway through the second.
