NBA: Sacramento 118, Minnesota 103

SACRAMENTO, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Francisco Garcia led eight Kings in double figures with 21 points Monday night and Sacramento beat Minnesota 118-103 in Kenny Natt's head coaching debut.

Natt took over as interim coach Monday after the Kings fired Reggie Theus, who had coached the team to a 6-18 start, with 10 losses in their last 11 games coming into Monday night.

John Salmons scored 17 points and Spencer Hawes had 15 points and 10 rebounds for Sacramento.

Al Jefferson scored 22 points and Rashad McCants had 21 for Minnesota, which has lost 10 straight games for the first time since the 1993-94 season. The Timberwolves have yet to win under new Coach Kevin McHale, who took over the team Dec. 8.

Sacramento took control with a 15-4 third-quarter run and took an 86-67 lead into the fourth quarter. Minnesota never managed to get within less than double digits the rest of the way.
