ST. LOUIS, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Olindo Mare's 27-yard field goal with time expiring Sunday gave the Seattle Seahawks a 23-20 victory against the St. Louis Cardinals.
It was the 13-year veteran's third field goal in the contest.

Backup quarterback Seneca Wallace, again subbing for the injured Matt Hasselbeck, completed 15-of-25 passes for 226 yards, including a 45-yarder to Deion Branch to set up Mare's game-winning boot.
Matt Morris ran for 86 yards on 15 carries and T.J. Duckett scored the only offensive touchdown for the Seahawks (3-11), who broke their six-game losing streak.
Seattle swept the season series and has beaten the Rams eight straight times.
St. Louis's Marc Bulger went 19-of-32 passing for 207 yards and one touchdown.
Steven Jackson scored once on 24 carries for 91 yards, while Tory Holt scored once after four receptions for 64 yards in the Rams' eighth straight loss.
Their record sank to 2-12.
