NHL: Toronto 4, N.Y. Islanders 2

TORONTO, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Jason Blake had a goal and two assists Monday to lead the Toronto Maple Leafs to a 4-2 victory over the New York Islanders.

Jeremy Williams added a goal and assist and Nikolai Kulemin and Ian White had the other goals for Toronto. Vesa Toskala had 26 saves for the Maple Leafs, who won for only the second time in their last six home games.

Bill Guerin and Mike Sillinger scored for New York, which has lost three straight and five of its last six.

Joey MacDonald allowed for four goals on 37 shots. MacDonald has yielded four or more goals in five of his last six starts.
