COL BKB: Xavier 81, Auburn 74

CINCINNATI, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- B.J. Raymond poured in 32 points Wednesday in leading 14th-ranked Xavier to an 81-74 decision over Auburn.

Raymond hit 10 of 13 shots from the field and made seven from three-point range. The Musketeers improved to 7-0.

Auburn (3-4) dropped its third straight. The Tigers got 23 points from Frankie Sullivan.

Xavier scored the final eight points of the first half to lead 37-26 and the advantage grew to 20 early in the second period. Auburn could not cut its deficit to less than 10 points until the final minute.
