NFL: Indianapolis 23, San Diego 20

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Adam Vinatieri nailed a 51-yard field goal as time ran out Sunday night to give the Indianapolis Colts a 23-20 victory over San Diego.

The Chargers had tied the game 20-20 with 1 1/2 minutes remaining on a 47-yard field goal by Nate Kaeding and the Chargers' defense seemed to have the Colts stopped on downs when a review spotted a third-down play inches short of a first. However, Colts quarterback Peyton Manning connected with Marvin Harrison with a 14-yard pass to give Indianapolis new life.

Joseph Addai carried the ball 16 times for 70 yards and Anthony Gonzalez had six catches for 95 yards and a score for the Colts.

LaDainian Tomlinson picked up 84 yards on 21 rushes. Vincent Jackson and Jacob Hester had a touchdown catch for the Chargers.
