COL BKB: Georgetown 81, Drexel 53

WASHINGTON, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Greg Monroe had 20 points and eight rebounds Saturday, carrying the 18th-ranked Georgetown Hoyas to an 81-53 victory over the Drexel Dragons.

Monroe added four assists, three steals and three blocked shots for the Hoyas (2-0).

Austin Freeman missed only one of seven shots while adding 16 points for Georgetown.

Scott Rodgers scored 13 points to lead the Dragons (1-1). Jamie Harris added 12.

Georgetown scored 15 of the first 17 points in the game and led 42-25 at halftime.
